At this stage, your mantra should be: “Write more, read selectively.” Since the optional papers have been replaced by GS Paper V and VI (UP Special), your strategy must prioritize these high-scoring areas along with Ethics and Hindi.

💡 Pro-Tips for UPPSC Answer Writing

  1. The “UP” Factor: For GS I, II, and III, always try to conclude with a relevant UP-specific point or example.
  2. Flowcharts: UPPSC examiners love clean, labeled diagrams. Use them for Geography (GS I) and Disaster Management (GS III).
  3. Hindi is Key: Do not ignore General Hindi (150 Marks). It is often the difference between getting a top post and just making the list.
  4. Keywords in Ethics: Use terms like Probity, Emotional Intelligence, and Accountability explicitly in your answers.

“Selection is not about knowing everything; it’s about presenting what you know better than the person next to you.”
